Changing Sod Orders | Canceling Sod Orders | Pick-Up
Reserving Trucks | Delivery | Unloading | Pallet Deposits

Ordering, Pick- up and Delivery Policies: We will work to accommodate your schedule the best we can. In order to be fair and provide better service for all of our customers, we have developed some guidelines.

  • If you have any questions regarding any of these please call our office. Office hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
  • We would like to have five (5) days advance notice. But, please call us for availability and special requests.
  • Your orders may be phone in to 804-829-2696, 866-829-2696 or faxed to 804-829-6140, or emailed to info@meadowspringturf.com.
  • All orders will be confirmed with you by telephone.
  • If your company uses purchase order numbers, we must have a purchase order number at the time you place your order. Orders will not be processed until we have a purchase order from your company.
  • Payment is due at time of delivery or pick-up. Credit card numbers are required to secure the cut for cash customers. - top -

Changing Sod Orders: Any changes to your order must be made by telephone within the following times:

  • For early morning deliveries and pick-ups that are scheduled between 7:00 am - 12:00 pm, we must know by 12:00 noon the previous day.
  • For afternoon deliveries and pick-ups, we must know by 7:30 am that day.
  • If you call after the above-mentioned times, your order may already be cut. If your order is already cut, we will try to find someone else to purchase your sod, but if we cannot, we do expect payment for sod that we were not able to sell.

Canceling Sod Orders: It is your responsibility to call and cancel your order for any reason (same times as stated above). If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you want your order. We will call you if we can not cut your order due to the weather. Remember just because it is raining where you are does not mean that it is raining here at the farm! If we have to postpone your order because the fields are to wet to harvest; we will reschedule your order for the first available day. We do not reschedule the whole week, just the days we are unable to harvest. - top -

Pick-Up:

  • We schedule sod pick ups between 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. Please be here at the time that was agreed too. If you are running late, please call the office and let us know; this way we can make sure someone is close by to load you.
  • Unless other arrangements have been made all sod orders must be picked up by 3:30 pm.
  • If you do not pick up your sod and we are not able to sell it to someone, we expect payment for sod that we were not able to sell.

Reserving Trucks:

  • We must know the directions and the amount of sod you need at the time you reserve the truck. If you need to change the amount you must call by the times as stated above.
  • We also need to know when you have two or more locations that we are delivering to.
  • We charge freight to the furthest point of delivery plus $25.00 per stop.
  • There is a minimum of one pallet per stop.

Delivery Times: Please be on the delivery site at the time that was agreed upon. Please call us if you are running late, so we can notify customers that have a delivery after yours when they can expect their order. - top -

Unloading:

  • Please let us know if we will be at your job site longer than one hour. This will help us give a better estimated delivery time for customers that are scheduled after yours.
  • If we are on the job site longer than one hour, we charge an additional $60.00 per hour.
  • We do not unload across driveways unless directed to do so by the customer and we cannot be responsible for any damage as a result.

Pallet Deposits:

  • We require a pallet deposit of $9.00 per pallet. This deposit will be refunded upon the return of our pallets in useable condition. If a pallet is returned and is not useable we will not be able to refund your deposit.
  • We will pick up pallets that we deliver if we are making another delivery to the job site and the pallets are stacked and ready top be loaded.
  • We will not make a special trip to pick up any pallets. - top -
